Second Semester Senior Year:

3/28/23: I am named a Fulbright Scholar!

These are the sparknotes of my job hunt senior year. Like many college seniors, it was long, tedious, and at times frustrating. It also catalyzed a lot of self-reflection and "identity questioning" as I grappled with what mattered most to me, struggling to identify "what's next".

This is a time in my life riddled with unknowns, and I know it is supposed to be that way. There's no "right path", and as I figure it out piece by piece, I want to document it. To me, this year in Korea represents an opportunity to clarify my heritage, have many adventures, and learn more about myself as a person.

To be honest, I am really scared. So much has changed since I first got this award. So much will change while I am in Korea. At the same time, I am so excited. Who will I meet? What will I learn? How will I impact my students?

I'd love for you to come along this journey with me. I'll be posting weekly, and I would love to hear your thoughts, reactions, advice, or anything.
